HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE ABOUT US OR ABOUT THE HOME INSPECTIONS.
What credentials and licenses do you hold?
Our inspectors are licensed by the state of South Carolina. Some of our inspectors also hold other licenses including electrical (electrician) and FAA part 107 Drone Pilot license.
Our inspectors are also certified through InterNachi or AHSI and participate in their continuing education classes.
What standards do you follow for the home inspection.
We follow the standards established by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Your can view these standards here.
How long will the inspection take?
A typical single-family home (1,500–2,500 ft²) takes roughly 2–3 hours. Homes with more complex systems, multiple outbuildings, or special testing needs may require more time.
Are there limits to what you inspect?
Yes. By industry standard, inspections are non-invasive and visual. I don’t move furniture, cut into walls, or test for asbestos/lead paint unless arranged separately with specialized testing services.
How much does an inspection cost?
Base pricing typically ranges from $300–$600, depending on square footage and property age. Additional services (radon testing, termite/WDI inspections, pool inspections, mold testing) are available as add-ons.
How do I schedule an inspection?
You can schedule directly online via our booking page (Red Schedule Button at Top of Website) or call our office at (864)884-4265.
We’ll confirm your inspection date and send a digital agreement to you. From there we will handle everything else.
Can I attend the inspection?
Yes, you are welcome to attend the inspection. It is often helpful to discuss the findings with the inspector on site.
If you are not able to come to the inspection, please call your inspector to discuss any questions you may have about the report.
When and how will I receive the report?
You will receive the report the same day, sometimes shortly after the inspection but no later than that evening.
Within an email, sent to you, will be a link that takes you to a dashboard. From that dashboard you will be able to review or download the report.
